Competitors must report to the Championship Mobile Office at least 30 minutes prior to their starting times that are shown in the official draw sheet.

Each competitor will be issued with a copy of the local rules, pin positions, pace of play guidelines and bag tag when registering at the Championship Mobile Office.

COMPETITORS MUST REPORT TO THE OFFICIAL STARTER AT THE FIRST TEE 5 MINUTES BEFORE THEY ARE DUE TO PLAY. Competitors are reminded that late arrival at the first tee will result in disqualification as no provision has been made under Rule 6-3.

THE WEARING OF JEANS, DENIM TROUSERS, SHORTS, SLEEVELESS OR COLLARLESS SHIRTS, SHELL SUITS AND TRAINING SHOES IS NOT PERMITTED.

CADDIES ARE NOT PERMITTED AND COMPETITORS ARE REMINDED THAT THEY MUST NOT SEEK OR ACCEPT ADVICE FROM PARENTS, OTHER COMPETITORS OR ANY OTHER PERSON. NB. The entry fee includes cover in respect of competitors' legal liability in the event of injury to another person or damage to a third party property. An excess of £15 will apply.

Practice
The club has very kindly granted courtesy of the course for one practice round prior to the Championship. Practice times are available after 2.00pm on Saturday 9 April. On Sunday 10 April practice will be available between 8.30am and 4.30pm Competitors unable to practice on Saturday 9 or Sunday 10 April may arrange an alternative time by prior arrangement with the Club. Bookings for practice times must be made in advance by telephoning on 01368 862086.

Additional practice rounds will be charged at £15.

Each competitor must report to the Professional’s Shop prior to starting his practice round. During the practice round only one ball shall be in play. Players found with more than one ball in play may have their practice round curtailed.

A full practice ground is available at Deer Park, which involves a 10-15 minute walk from the clubhouse i.e. follow the path that runs behind the 3rd tee. Alternatively the practice ground can be accessed by road i.e. from the golf club return to the main road and turn left. Continue along this road for approximately ¼ mile until you reach a layby on the left hand side. The layby is the car park for the practice ground.

NB. In view of the short distance involved from the Practice Ground and Clubhouse it is each players responsibility to ensure they allow enough time.

Practice balls will be available at Deer Park free of charge.
PRACTICE BALLS MUST NOT BE REMOVED FROM THE RANGE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. ANY PLAYER FOUND GUILTY OF THIS ACTION WILL BE LIABLE TO DISCIPLINARY ACTION BY THE CHAMPIONSHIP COMMITTEE.

Depending on wind direction the facility maybe limited to irons only but this will be advised by the Range Attendant.

The putting green that lies behind the 18th green is available for practice putting only. Competitors are prohibited from chipping onto or around this green. There is a designated green by the overflow car park for bunker and short game practice.
